Seattle, Vancouver, BC, & Victoria, BC

Seattle was a business trip for me, (Mark here), and Charlotte decided to fly out at the last minuite to make this an unexpected getaway. I was staying downtown at the Warwick. http://www.warwickwa.com/ Not the best hotel in town, but very nice, in a good location, and within company per diem. I had a couple of nights to explore Seattle and also make a pilgrimage to Edmonds to see the Rick Steve's HQ. before Charlotte arrived.

One evening I walked from my hotel to pier 66 to the Clipper http://www.clippervacations.com/ Vacations office where I bought a package that included transportation from Seattlte to Vancouver BC to Victoria BC and then back to Seattle in time to make the red eye to be back at work Monday morning. It was a wirlwind trip but very fun with enought time for a good overview of all three locations. CV did a great job, the connections were easy and good and the hotels they selected for us were excellent.

Sounds like you had a wonderful trip! Wish your accommodations had been better.

For next time, I’d like to mention a great place to stay for anyone thinking of coming this way for a visit -- Dashwood Manor Bed & Breakfast. Dashwood Manor Bed and Breakfast looks out to Victoria’s best ocean and mountain views. This outstanding Vancouver Island heritage bed and breakfast is located along Dallas Road, Victoria’s scenic marine drive, within easy walking distance to downtown Victoria’s Inner Harbour and many major attractions. Enjoy unforgettable ocean views from your guest room in this 1912 English Tudor mansion.

The owners, Dave & Sharon Layzell, have been meticulously renovating each suite since 2004, and the end result is simply spectacular!

You can check out their B&B at http://www.dashwoodmanor.com

Enjoy your next visit to beautiful Victoria, BC. It is paradise!
